The Institute of Financial Education, founded in 1922 and based in Chicago, offered educational guides, courses, and books to the financial service professionals, to advance their career growth and development.

For this course book, I created a cover-to-cover design—from construction and art direction of the cover photograph, through page layouts, creation of chart/accounting diagrams, and on through Appendices.

They followed my suggestion for the more-functional horizontal layout, which allowed for the book to open flat and for wider text columns and larger accounting ledger diagrams.
