A quarterly magazine designed to put a human face to the ongoing social services work of People’s Regional Opportunity Program (PROP), based in Portland, Maine.
PROP’s stated mission was “Transforming our community by helping people in need build better lives.” Each issue featured a profile on a client, with their backstory and how PROP had been essential to helping them stabilize and improve their life. Issues also included Volunteer profiles, News & Notes, reports on PROP activities around the region, fundraising events, additional client profiles, and more.
The PROP mission is definitely “pro people”, as was the focus of the magazine, so the design of the masthead was a natural.
