Designed the logo representing the Archive competition, hosted by The Society of Typographic Arts.
The annual solicitation brought in exemplary work from design professionals across the Chicago region for a juried selection of entries and inclusion in the Chicago Design Archive.
I designed this mark to be representative of the high creative standards for work previously collected, while also allowing each event year to retain a memorable identity.
A keepsake CD contained a PDF documenting the event, along with representative images of pieces accepted for inclusion. The clamshell case and enclosed disc emulated and reinforced the mark in a very satisfying way.
