Western RE Promo

Western RE was an underwriting agency for insurance firms specializing in earthquake-prone markets. A change in leadership brought new directions and new energy to the company, which they hoped to express through a revised logo.

My logo concept was inspired by their essential business proposition — creating a solid foundation and stable horizon, while acknowledging the unseen fissure beneath the surface.

They also requested a promotional leave-behind which would visually evince the change as well as briefly introduce the new management team. Text and photography was handled by the client, and based on the images, I wrote call-out captions to connect each person’s essential qualities and core strengths to how they contributed to and exemplified the principles and expertise of Western RE.
